St. Patrick’s Day Irish Food– English Cooking Lesson

 Are you interested in cooking and other cultures? I would like to invite you to make and eat Irish Food with me on St. Patrick’s Day! St. Patrick’s Day is on March 17, and is a holiday in Ireland and America in which people celebrate their Irish heritage. These days not just the Irish, but anyone who likes to party and drink green beer joins the celebration. We also have to wear green that day for good luck. 

料理と異文化に興味がありますか？聖パトリック祭に一緒にアイルランド料理を作って食べるレッスンに皆さんを招待します。アイルランドとアメリカでアイルランド系の人達がアイルランド人である事を祝う祭りです。でも、最近アイルランド系の人達だけではなく、パーティー好きや緑のビールを飲みたい人等誰でも祝います。また、その日は幸運を願って、緑の物を身につけなければなりません。

メニュー(menu)：アイリシュ・シチュー、コーンビーフとキャベツ（アイルランド系アメリカ人料理）、ソーダ・ブレッド、スポテッド・ドッグ・ケーキ等。サイダーやギネスビールも飲みましょうか？

Are you interested in cooking, hospitality and American culture? I would like to invite you to make traditional Christmas party foods and drink with me, and then have a Christmas party together.    
おもてなし料理、アメリカの文化に興味がありますか？ 一緒にクリスマスの 伝統的な軽食を作って、パーティーをするために、皆さんを招待します.

   

メニュー(menu)：Turkey, ham, shrimp cocktail, dips, veggies, salads, pie, Christmas cookies, mulled wine...ターキー、ハム、海老のカクテル、ディップ、野菜、サラダ、パイ、クリスマスクッキー、ホットスパイスワイン等を作ります！

また、キャラの家のクリスマス パーティーにも招待します。 同日の午後４時からキャラが開きます。 クリスマス軽食、クリスマス・キャロル、プレゼント、ゲーム等。５００円ぐらいのプレゼント（または、お家にある使用していない要らない物、贈物用に包装した物）を持って来て、楽しいプレゼント交換のゲームをしましょう！参加は無料。

Are you interested in cooking and American culture? Christmas is around the corner and you may be thinking about gifts to buy your friends and family already.  May I suggest making your Christmas gifts this year? Something sweet and made from the heart?
アメリカの文化と料理に興味がありますか？クリスマスがもう間もなくで、もうご家族とお友達に何をあげるか考えているかもしれません。今年はクリスマスプレゼントを自分で作るというのはいかがでしょうか？何か甘くて心を込めて作った物は？

We will make Christmas cookies and candy and lay them nicely in a Christmas tin (for gift giving). This will take a long time to make (about 3 hours total), but you can stay a little later for chatting in English and eating some sweets together after we cook.
一緒にクリスマスクッキーとキャンディーを作って、ギフト用のクリスマスキャンディ缶の中にきれいに並べます。これは時間がかかります（全部で3時間ぐらい）。でも、お菓子を作った後で、ちょっと食べながら英会話ができるので、5時を過ぎてもいられます。
